  • Place the patch on the garment, then lay a towel or soft cloth on the press surface to protect the chenille pile.
  • Place the garment on the heat press with the patch facing down. Chenille is pressed from behind — direct heat on the pile flattens and scorches it.
  • Press at 350°F (175°C) for 20 to 30 seconds. Heavier fabrics need the longer end of that range, with firmer pressure.
