Custom Motorcycle Patches

Motorcycle club (MC) back patches, also called colors, are the most iconic category — a large embroidered panel (10-14 inches wide) for the back of a cut. Smaller chapter rocker patches worn above and below the main center patch are also standard. Individual rider name patches, rank patches within a club hierarchy, and commemorative event patches from rallies like Sturgis and Daytona Bike Week are consistently popular items.

Traditional MC back patch center panels are approximately 10-12 inches wide and 8-10 inches tall. Top rockers (location or chapter name above the center emblem) and bottom rockers (location below the emblem) are 11-13 inches wide and 2-3 inches tall. Combined, the three-piece set spans the full back of a cut vest or jacket. We reproduce these standard dimensions precisely and can also create custom sizing.

Motorcycle club patches on leather or denim cuts are exclusively sew-on. Iron-on backing does not work on leather and is not traditional for club cuts. Patches are hand-sewn or machine-sewn directly onto the vest back. We produce our MC patches with sew-on backing as the default. PVC patches for front chest or chest panels may use Velcro for removable configurations.

Yes. We work with new motorcycle clubs on full cut patch sets — center patch, top and bottom rockers, chapter-specific bottom rocker, officer rank patches, and member name patches. We treat all designs with discretion. New clubs should order a single set for proof approval before placing the full chapter order to ensure everything is correct before large-scale production.

Outdoor exposure from wind, rain, and sun is inherent to motorcycle riding. We use UV-resistant polyester thread in all our embroidered patches — it maintains color significantly longer than rayon thread under direct sunlight. For patches on leather cuts exposed to rain, we recommend a clear seam sealant applied by the customer after sewing to protect the backing from moisture absorption.
